Real estate, without the pressure

I’m Erin Corcoran — a third-generation REALTOR® who believes that buying or selling a home shouldn’t feel rushed, confusing, or overwhelming.

I grew up around real estate. It was part of everyday conversation long before I was licensed, and that early exposure shaped how I approach this work today: thoughtfully, honestly, and with a strong respect for the fact that real estate decisions are personal.

I became fully licensed in 2014, and while the market has changed many times since then, one thing hasn’t; people make better decisions when they actually understand their options.


How I work

I don’t believe in hype, scare tactics, or pushing people into decisions they’re not ready to make.

My role is to:

  • explain what’s really happening in the local market
  • help you understand what different price points and strategies actually mean
  • walk you through your options so you can move forward with confidence; or wait, if that’s the right choice


Some clients work with me immediately. Others read my posts, ask questions, and check in over 

time. Both are completely okay.


Local knowledge matters

I work across Durham Region, Northumberland County, and Kawartha Lakes, and I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach.

Each area has its own pace, pricing patterns, and buyer behaviour — and understanding those differences matters whether you’re:

  • buying your first home
  • upsizing or downsizing
  • selling a long-held property
  • investing
  • or navigating the rental market

Local insight is what turns information into good decisions.


More than just buying and selling

Alongside my real estate work, I’m also the creator of Locally Durham, where I highlight small businesses and community stories across the region, and Agent Ally Solutions, where I support other REALTORS® behind the scenes with organization, systems, and administrative help.

Both projects come from the same place:
I care about how people work, live, and build their futures, not just transactions.
